The Virhuck V-6 ($185) is another GPS drone with an HD camera for less than $200. It has a 1080p camera and a handful of intelligent flight modes. It is a rebrand of the popular MJX Bugs 2SE drone. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing as the Bugs 2SE is an excellent drone. This version features different styling and it comes with an extra battery so it will double your flight time.
The Virhuck V-6 GPS Drone
The Virhuck V-6 has a good 1080p camera. It, however, is not stabilized so you will have to fly slow and steady to get good video footage. I have found it takes excellent pictures and actually prefer them to the video.
The Virhuck V-6 relies on powerful and efficient brushless motors. That helps to give it the impressive 17 minute flight time. Since you get two batteries that means you’ll have over 30 minutes of flying. The Virhuck V-6 has a range of around 200 meters and you can view a live video feed streaming via a 5G connection to your smartphone.
The Virhuck V-6 has a variety of intelligent flight modes like return to home, follow me, waypoints and orbit. While I have not tested them on the Virhuck model I have tested them using the MJX Bugs 2. They are essentially identical drones on the inside with the major differences being stylistic changes.
If you are looking for a good beginner GPS drone for under $200 the Virhuck V-6 is a solid option. You can order it from Gearbest for $185.99 which is cheaper than the $199.99 price at Amazon.
