The UFO 3000 and UFO 4000 are two easy-to-fly drones with super bright LED lights. These are both excellent beginner drones and they make great gifts. They are essentially the same drones, but with different color LEDs and slightly different cosmetic designs. We flew them over and over again and have found them to not only be a blast but to be very durable as well.
UFO 3000 & UFO 4000
The UFO 3000 and UFO 4000 have a similar ducted-propeller design. These ducts protect the propellers from fingers. The ducts also do a good job working as bumpers to keep your UFO in the air longer and to keep the props protected from damage. The UFO 3000 features blue and green LEDs, whereas the UFO 4000 features red, white and blue LEDs.
Both the UFO 3000 and UFO 4000 are very stable drones. They use an internal barometer to help maintain a consistent altitude. You can fly the drones in beginner, intermediate or advanced modes and they will flip with the push of a button.
You can use these bright LED drones to even do light paintings. We had a lot of fun doing so with our Halo 3000. The older Halo is a combination of the LEDs from the UFO 3000 and the body style of the UFO 4000. Whichever version you choose, it is bound to be a lot of fun.
