The MJX V1 is a tiny little drone that you can pick up for less than $50. This tiny quadcopter is foldable and looks like a mini version of the DJI Mavic Mini. It has altitude hold, a WiFi camera, and a handful of fun flight modes.
What is the MJX V1?
The MJX V1 is a small beginner drone that you can get for about $50. It is tiny and portable and that is part of its charm. While it may look like a smaller DJI Mavic Mini but that is where the similarities end. The camera claims to be 1080p but it isn’t good quality and it isn’t stabilized. This drone is good for beginners because it is small, lightweight, and inexpensive. I’d consider buying this as a toy for a child or for someone that wanted to learn how to fly.
The MJX V1 is too light to fly in even moderately breezy conditions. The altitude hold is a nice feature that helps make it more stable. You can make it do flips with the push of a button. The V1 even has one key take off and landing, circle, and orbit modes. You can expect to get 10-12 minutes of flight time on a battery and a range of up to 50 meters. The video feed can be shown live on your phone via the free M-Drone app.
