The iFlight Alpha A75 is a 75 mm tiny whoop that has the Caddx Nebula unit onboard. If you love whoops but have been disappointed that there are so few digital options then this is something you’ll want to check out. While this may be similar to the BetaFPV Beta75x HD whoop it definitely has some improvements.
iFlight Alpha A75
The iFlight Alpha A75 is unique in that it is one of the few tiny whoops out there that carries the DJI digital FPV system. This one uses the Caddx Nebula and without the battery weighs 67 grams. It uses an AIO F4 flight controller and 20 amp ESC. You can fly on a 2-3S battery but a 3S 450 mah battery is what is recommended.
The motors are XING-E 1103 8000KV brushless motors and use 40mm propellers. You’ll get two pairs of HQ and Gemfan 1635 tri-blade props to test out with the quad. Should you want more props make sure you note the 1.5mm propeller shaft.
You can get it with a FrSky XM+, R-XSR, or TBS Crossfire Nano receiver. However, this will add both cost and weight. If you own the DJI remote controller we recommend you bind it with that. Make sure you update the firmware on the Caddx Nebula unit before you fly as DJI routinely pushes out improvements via the updated firmware.
The iFlight Alpha A75 is an interesting digital whoop. IFlight did pre-tune the quad for smooth cinematic footage and included a nice albatross antenna for better signal. This is a solid entry into the emerging digital whoop world. I’d give the nod to this drone over the BetaFPV Beta75x when it comes to digital whoops. The Beta75x may be lighter (it uses a de-cased or naked Vista) it was much less durable.
