We are proud to announce the Half Chrome College Scholarship. Here at Half Chrome, we are big believers in education and feel it is important to invest in both students and teachers. We were sponsors of the first ever Illinois Flipped and Blended Conference and are backers of the local Huntley High School Drone Club. We want to continue our support of education by giving one hard-working high school senior $1000 toward their post-secondary education.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be:
- Current high school (or home-schooled) senior attending school in the United States
- Anticipating completion of high school diploma in 2018 or already in possession of high school diploma or GED
- Planning to pursue or begin a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution in 2018
- Carrying a cumulative 3.0 GPA
How to Apply
Create a 2-5 minute video telling us how evolving technologies have shaped your education or how you believe they will shape your career after college. It could be related to UAVs, but is not necessary.
Subjects may be one of the following but are not limited to…
- How you plan to use technology to help further you education
- How you plan to use technology in your future career
- How you see technology changing careers in the future
- The evolution of UAV technology and its current impact or future impact on society

By submitting your video, you are giving us the permission to use it for promotions and/or marketing purposes. Your name, city and state of residence, and the name of the post-secondary institution that you will be attending may be announced on a Half Chrome web page and may be included in a press release.

The funds will be available for the 2018-2019 school year.
Is this scholarship renewable?
No, it is a single semester scholarship. New scholarships will be available each year.
How many scholarships are available? And how much are they?
One (1) scholarship is available of $1,000.
How is a winner determined?
The winning submission will be an applicant who meets or exceeds the eligibility requirements. Submissions will be judged on content and presentation.
When will the winner be selected? How will they be notified?
A winner will be selected by June 1, 2018. Half Chrome will notify the winner by email. In the event that the winner does not respond within 7 days of the initial contact attempt, a new winner will be chosen.
How will the scholarship get paid?
The scholarship winner will be paid directly to the student.
