Falcon Mini Drone Review: A Bold Bicopter That’s Turning Heads
If you’re tired of seeing the same four-prop drone designs everywhere, the Falcon Mini might be just what you need. Developed by ZeroZero, this bicopter drone throws tradition out the window, using just two motors and a revolutionary servo-based design. It’s compact, lightweight (under 250g), and surprisingly powerful — and that makes it one of the most interesting drones in the budget market today.

First Impressions & Build Quality
Out of the box, the Falcon Mini feels solid and compact. The arms fold up for easy transport and the included Fly More Combo comes with a sleek carrying case, extra props, a charger, and a foldable remote. The minimal, aerodynamic design gives it a futuristic look — and the bicopter design sets it apart from typical drones in the same class.
One thing to note: the props use tiny screws that may require a full-sized torque driver to swap. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if you’re rough on your gear. The included tool can work in a pinch but I found it difficult to use and stripped a few screws using it.
Flight Performance & Camera Quality
The Falcon Mini flies smoothly thanks to its servo-controlled motion. It’s responsive, stable, and relatively quiet thanks to its two-prop setup. In Turbo Mode, it really comes alive — it really moves quickly. It isn’t great for capturing footage, but is a blast to fly. It also has an upside down mode. That however isn’t something I’d recommend. You’ll need to swap the props to the opposite motors before trying. It didn’t fly very well for me and the motors got extremely hot. It is more of a gimmick and will need some refinement.
The camera, though not on par with a $2,000 DJI model, is impressive for the price. The 3-axis gimbal ensures smooth footage, and it can shoot in either full-frame or cropped vertical video mode for social media. The flight modes do work and should be even better upon final launch.
