EMax has been killing it lately with they FPV lineup. The new Tinyhawk II is going to build on their already awesome lineup of micro quads. I loved the original Tinyhawk. Then they released the Tinyhawk S and I was impressed. Recently they’ve released a couple of fantastic beginner FPV products in the Interceptor and EZ Pilot. Now the Tinyhawk 2 has come to town and it is ready to dominate the Tiny Whoop world.
EMax Tinyhawk II
The Emax Tinyhawk 2 is building on the Tinyhawk S. Emax listened to the consumers and added the features that we wanted. First, the motors are more powerful. According to EMax you’ll get about 7% more power. Second, the camera has been upgraded to the Runcam Nano 2. You’ll get better color and contrast. On top of that, you’ll be able to adjust the angle easily. Emax has even added some LED lights.
The VTX has been upgraded as well. You’ll be able to fly on 25/100/200 mw. The frame has also been redesigned from the ground up and is even more durable than the already durable Tinyhawk S frame. You won’t have the annoying issue that the original and S version has with the camera getting knocked out of place. It has its own canopy and is held in with screws.
The one thing that sadly doesn’t look to have been upgraded is the SPI receiver. You can expect to get a similar range to the other Tinyhawk quads and EMax is recommending that you use D8 mode. The battery connector is the standard JST 2.0 connector and will accept both 1S and 2S batteries.
