The Eachine Mini Mustang P51D is a small, one propeller RC airplane. It is easy to fly and a great starter airplane for a beginner. The Mini Mustang looks good and it flies smoothly. It comes with everything you need to get it off the ground.
Eachine Mini Mustang P51D
This is an excellent starter RC airplane for a beginner. You can hand launch it or take off a runway. It utilizes a brushed motor attached to a propeller (130 x 70 mm) on the nose of the plane. There are three modes in which you can fly. Beginner mode is fully stabilized and easy to fly. Mid-mode makes the plane more aggressive and you can manually do some flips and rolls. Expert mode gives you full control of the plane and allows you to fly and do acrobatics as you please.
There is also an acrobatic button that you can use in beginner mode. Pushing it and deflecting the right stick will have the plane do automatic flips and rolls. It has a return to home button that will have the plane U-turn and head back home with the push of a button. It isn’t a GPS return home, so it isn’t 100% effective.
The Eachine Mini Mustang P51 is a small plane. It has a 400 mm wingspan and measures 317 mm from tip to tail. It is very light, and weighs only 61 grams. You can fly it using a small 300-400 mah 1S battery and it can get up to 14 minutes of flight time. Your flight time will greatly depend on how you fly and what conditions you fly in. Because it is so light we wouldn’t recommend flying it on a windy day.
Should you get an Eachine Mini Mustang?
Flying the Eachine Mini Mustang is an absolute blast. If you are looking to get into flying RC planes this is a great first plane. It is easy to fly and won’t break the bank. Right now it is on sale starting at $72. I’d recommend getting the three-battery package so you can get a few extra flights in.
