The Beta75x HD is a small but powerful whoop style drone. It can fly on a 2S or a 3S battery and has a Caddx Turtle on board to record HD footage. If you are looking for a pocket-sized cinewhoop this just might be the drone for you.
BetaFPV Beta75x
The Beta75x is one of the many new drones released by BetaFPV. BetaFPV builds a quality product and their focus is building small toothpick and whoop style drones. The Beta75x is an outstanding little product.
The Beta 75x is a 75 mm quad that weighs 63 grams without the battery. It features 1103, 8000 KV motors that can handle a 3S battery. The flight controller is an all in one F4 and has 12 amp ESCs. The real gem of this quad is the HD Caddx Turtle camera. It is capable of recording HD footage and providing you with a quality FPV feed. The VTX is switchable from 25 to 200 mw so you get decent range. The Beta75x comes with a variety of receiver options and my came with the XM+.
Flying the Beta75x
The Beta 75x flies quite well for a ducted drone. I tested it on both 2S and 3S batteries and predictably I enjoyed flying on the 3S much better. It has plenty of power and excels as a tight places flier. If you are looking for a pocket sized cinewhoop this is a really good option. I took it to the park and flew it around the playground obstacles and I think this is the perfect drone for that type of flying. It can be flown indoors but is heavier than I’d like for an indoor drone. Not all whoop style quads fly acro well, but this one absolutely does.
Should you get the Beta75x?
If you are looking for a small whoop with some power that can record HD footage then this is an excellent option. BetaFPV does the little things that some companies don’t. This drone is tuned well and flies smoothly. I prefer it to the Eachine Cinecam and even the BetaFPV 85x that I have. It isn’t a full-size cinewhoop so it can’t carry a GoPro. If you want a pocket sized whoop with some punch I’d suggest taking a look at the Beta75x.
