Now there is a sleek and compact alternative for under $150. With the Eachine EV100 coming in at about half the price of a good set of Fatsharks we think the leader could be getting a bit nervous. But is the Fatshark alternative good enough to dethrone the king? Let’s find out.
The Eachine EV100 and Furibee FB100 are essentially the same goggles. It isn’t uncommon for companies to rebrand popular products. Both headsets are 5.8 GHz 72-channel FPV goggles that feature dual 720 x 540 resolution screens with dual antennas. Those are pretty good specs for FPV goggles.
You also get an internal fan to help keep your goggles from fogging up on you. They do not have a DVR but do support a module that will. You’ll get an HDMI input as well as an A/V input and output so that you can DVR on your own. These goggles will automatically search for the strongest signal so you won’t need to click through the channels yourself. These are all good features that are hard to find on FPV goggles under $200.
You should get about 2 hours of operation time with these headsets. These goggles are lightweight, tipping the scales at 221 grams (0.48 lbs). After combing through the specs, the Furibee FB100 and Eachine EV100 look like great bargain goggles. Take a closer look at the full specs below.

So Are These Really Fatshark Killers?
Fatsharks have built a solid reputation because they are high-quality FPV goggles. Most Fatsharks have better resolution, a wider field of view, are lighter and have more features like a built-in DVR or even head tracking. If you really want to learn more about FPV goggles then check this out. We’ll help you find the best pair.
These new EV100 and FB100 goggles are nice and definitely a better option than a lot of big box type FPV goggles, but they aren’t better than most Fatshark goggles. They are however a lot cheaper…
