The Makerfire Armor 65 Lite is an all-in-one ready to go tiny whoop. It is an absolute blast to fly. It is basically a suped-up E011 that you can fly in both angle and acro mode.
If you are looking for a good but inexpensive drone to fly indoors this winter then you want to take a look at the MakerFire Armor 65 lite. You can pick one up with a remote for $49.99 or without a remote for $42.99.
What is the MakerFire Armor 65 Lite?
Like most standard whoops this little drone has a 65 mm wheelbase. It generates its power from 716 17,600KV brushed motors and uses an 800 TVL camera with a 150-degree field of view. Makerfire flashed the flight controller with Silverflight firmware to make this a better and more responsive FPV drone.
Silverware is an open-source flight controller firmware developed by GitHub user silver13 for F0 FCs. It was forked and further refined by GitHub user NotFastEnuf.
Upgrade it with a Jumper T8SG Plus
The Makerfire Armor 65 Lite is an absolute blast to fly. The frame is well designed and can handle its share of crashes. It does come with a remote but you can basically upgrade it by using a Jumper T8SG or similar multiprotocol remote. Using the Jumper makes it more responsive and I highly recommend it if you want to fly it acro. If you do use the Jumper connect it to the Bayang protocol and add an arming and acro switch. I love the Jumper remote and suggest it to anyone that is getting into flying. If you fly multiple drones it is the remote of choice.

The Makerfire Armor 65 Lite uses a 300 mah 4.35v LiHV battery that will get you a little more than 4 minutes of flight time. Using the standard remote will give you a range of about 50 meters but if you choose to bind it to the Jumper you can expect to double that.
If you are looking for an inexpensive but fun tiny whoop then the Makerfire Armor 65 Lite is the way to go. It is an absolute blast to fly. It is hard to find a quad this fun for only $49.99. They also sell upgraded Pro versions that utilize an F3 flight controller and are BNF if you want a more customizable version.
